1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SafeScan ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

SafeScan provides:

  • File scanning and malware detection using VirusTotal (70+ antivirus engines)
  • AI-powered security analysis using OpenAI GPT-4
  • Software source verification and safe download recommendations
  • Security certificates for scanned files
  • Subscription-based access to premium features

3. User Accounts

Registration: You must provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining account security and all activities under your account.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use SafeScan. Users under 18 require parental consent.

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without refund.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Plans:

  • Free: 3 scans per day
  • Personal (₹299/month): 50 scans per month
  • Professional (₹799/month): 500 scans per month
  • Enterprise (₹1,999/month): Unlimited scans + priority support

Payment: All payments processed securely via Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless canceled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard.

Price Changes: We may change prices with 30 days notice. Changes apply to subsequent billing cycles.

5. Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: New subscribers can request a full refund within 30 days of first payment, no questions asked.

Service Issues: If technical issues prevent service use for >48 hours, contact support@predintel.zohodesk.in for a prorated refund.

No Partial Refunds: Refunds not available for partial billing periods after the 30-day window.

Abuse Prevention: Users who abuse refund policy may be banned from future subscriptions.

Processing Time: Refunds processed within 7-10 business days to original payment method.

To Request Refund: Email support@predintel.zohodesk.in with your order ID and reason.

6. Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel: Cancel anytime from your dashboard → Subscription → Cancel Subscription.

Access After Cancellation: You retain access until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds for early cancellation.

Data Retention: Scan history retained for 30 days after cancellation, then deleted. You can export data before canceling.

Reactivation: You can reactivate your subscription anytime. Historical data may not be available if >30 days have passed.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload malware, viruses, or illegal content
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to access our systems
  • Use the service to harm others or violate laws
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Abuse scan quotas or attempt to circumvent limits
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute our software database
  • Use the service for commercial resale without permission

8. Intellectual Property

SafeScan, its logo, design, and original content are owned by SwankyTools/SafeScan and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

9. Disclaimers & Limitations

No Guarantee: While we use 70+ antivirus engines and AI analysis, we CANNOT guarantee 100% threat detection. Use results as guidance, not absolute certainty.

Third-Party Services: VirusTotal and OpenAI may have downtime. We are not liable for their service interruptions.

"AS IS" Service: SafeScan provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of Liability: Our liability limited to amount paid in last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SafeScan/SwankyTools harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These terms governed by laws of India.

Arbitration: Disputes resolved through binding arbitration in India, not courts.

Informal Resolution: Contact support@predintel.zohodesk.in before pursuing legal action.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be notified via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
