At SafeSearchScan Legacy (operated by PredIntel™, a brand of Swanky Tools™), we strive to provide the best service possible. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds of our services.

1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 30-Day Plans (No Auto-Renewal)

  • No cancellation needed - All plans are 30-day access periods with NO automatic renewal
  • After 30 days, your plan expires and you automatically move to the Free plan
  • You can manually purchase a new plan anytime if you wish to continue
  • No subscription to cancel, no recurring charges, completely hassle-free

1.2 Active Plan Period

  • Once purchased, you have full access for 30 days from activation
  • Plan cannot be paused or extended beyond 30 days
  • Unused scans do not roll over to the next plan period
  • After expiration, purchase a new plan to continue with paid features

1.3 Service Termination

  • We reserve the right to terminate service for Terms of Service violations
  • No refunds will be provided for terminated accounts
  • You may close your account anytime from your dashboard

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are ONLY issued in the following limited circumstances:

  • Technical Failure: If our service completely fails to scan files due to technical problems on our end (must be verified by our support team)
  • Service Unavailability: If our platform is down for more than 24 consecutive hours preventing all access
  • Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same transaction (excess amount only)
  • Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made without your authorization (requires police report and bank verification)

2.2 Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind - Once service is activated, no refunds for buyer's remorse
  • Personal financial reasons - We cannot refund due to your financial circumstances
  • Unused service - Failure to use scans during your plan period is not refundable
  • Scan results - Dissatisfaction with scan results or AI analysis (we provide analysis tools, not guarantees)
  • Slow scans - Third-party threat database lookup times are beyond our control
  • User error - Wrong plan purchased, incorrect file uploaded, or misunderstanding of features
  • Violation of Terms - Account termination due to Terms of Service violations
  • After 7 days - Any request made more than 7 days after purchase
  • Already used service - If you've used any scans from your paid plan (even 1 scan = service consumed)

⚠️ Important: No "Try and Return" Policy

This is a digital service, not a physical product. Once you purchase and activate a plan, you have immediate access to the service. We cannot offer refunds simply because you changed your mind, found a cheaper alternative, or no longer need the service. Please carefully review our plans before purchasing. All plan features are clearly listed on our pricing page.

2.3 Refund Request Period

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge
  • Requests made after this period will be automatically rejected
  • All refund requests must include order ID, transaction proof, and detailed technical issue explanation
  • We reserve the right to request additional verification (screenshots, error logs, etc.)

3. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

Please include the following in your refund request:

  • Full name and account email address
  • Order ID or transaction reference number
  • Date of purchase
  • Detailed reason for the refund request
  • Any supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, etc.)

4. Refund Processing

4.1 Processing Time

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 2-3 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Bank processing may take an additional 5-10 business days

4.2 Partial Refunds

In certain cases, partial refunds may be issued at our discretion:

  • Service interruptions affecting only part of the subscription period
  • Pro-rated refunds for exceptional circumstances (reviewed case-by-case)

5. Payment Gateway Policy

We use Razorpay as our payment gateway. All transactions are subject to:

  • Razorpay's Terms and Conditions
  • Your bank's refund processing policies
  • International transaction fees (if applicable) are non-refundable
  • Payment gateway charges are non-refundable

6. Disputes and Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please contact us at support@predintel.zohodesk.in. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

  • Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension
  • We reserve the right to dispute fraudulent chargeback claims
  • Repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account termination

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from refund or cancellation matters shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
