Always scan: files downloaded from websites you don't fully trust, email attachments (especially .zip, .exe, .docx, .pdf), files shared via messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram), cracked or pirated software, USB drives from other people, and any file that prompted an unusual warning when downloading.
